Easy 6 ingredient Cheese Dip
Cheese dip in Old Soul Sourdough Mini Loaves
A warm, melty cheese dip is always a crowd-pleaser. Whether you're dipping crunchy tortilla chips, soft pretzels, or fresh veggies, it's the perfect blend of comfort and indulgence.
Ingredients
8 oz softened cream cheese
1 cup Daisy Sour Cream
3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 Old Soul Sourdough round loaf or 3 Mini Sourdough loaves
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a stand mixer with the paddle attachment, combine softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. (you can also use a bowl and hand mixer)
Add in the rest of the ingredients until mixed.
Take your sourdough loaf or loaves and cut out the middle part of the loaf and set aside. It’s easiest to do by cutting straight up and down as far to the outside as possible. Then take a spoon and scoop out the bottom. If you happen to scoop out some of the bottom don’t fear, just take a little of the inside and stuff it in the holes on the bottom to seal the hole.
Place on baking sheet and spoon in the cheese dip until it reaches the top of the bowl. Do not overfill, it will melt over the bowl and burn.
Bake for 45 minutes for a large round loaf, and 25-30 minutes for small loaves.
Enjoy with the extra bread, some fresh cut veggies, pretzel sticks, even pickles!

I like making one recipe of the base cheese dip and making 3 different variations to put in 3 mini loaves; one for my kids, one spicy for my husband, and one savory for me!
